Form Cure L V2 is the post-curing unit built to keep pace with Form 4L. Where the previous generation could leave large prints waiting, V2 delivers roughly five times the UV power and heats up around 40% faster, so most general-purpose parts cure in about a minute and engineering and biocompatible resins in three to fifteen.
The chamber takes parts up to 353 × 196 × 365 mm on a 404 mm rotating glass turntable, accessed through a side-hinged door, and the whole unit is 26% smaller than the original Form Cure L while curing larger parts. Select a validated preset for any Formlabs resin, or manually set time, preheat, and temperature for custom workflows. Optional nitrogen integration is available for materials that benefit from an inert cure.
Post-curing completes the polymerisation started in the printer, improving strength, toughness, heat resistance and surface hardness. For biocompatible and dental materials, it is a required step to meet the indications for use.
