Markforged X7 3D Printer
Performance Engineering
Exceptionally strong, supremely stiff, ultra lightweight, and incredibly versatile — X7 3D printed parts deliver unparalleled performance without compromise.
Outperform Aluminum
Continuous carbon fiber parts stand up to the toughest applications. Stronger than 6061 Aluminum and 40% lighter, these parts are perfect for manufacturing equipment, jaws, tooling, and end-use parts.
50x Faster, 20x Cheaper
Directly replace machined aluminum with parts straight off the X7 3D printer. Parts printed with Onyx and reinforced with carbon fiber filament, fiberglass, or Kevlar® are work-capable and ready the same day for a fraction of the cost.
End Effectors
Keep your production line running at full speed. Reduce lead time and cost on end effectors by printing on-site same day tooling. Print new tools and functional replacements for old parts. Save time and money with carbon fiber 3D printing.

Soft Jaws
Use your CNC resources for only the most critical machining operations. Increase machining bandwidth by 3D printing composite-reinforced soft jaws and custom work-holding tools with the strength necessary for heavy duty machining operations.
Welding Fixture
Print better locating fixtures for complex welding operations. Reinforcing fibers distribute clamping forces evenly across custom geometries, making these fixtures more effective than general use solutions and more affordable than custom machined setups.

CMM Fixture
3D print custom fixturing for your QA rooms. Print standalone workholding to eliminate the need for complicated setups. Certify more parts in less time with cost effective, minimal effort fixtures.
Assembly Jig
Simplify critical assembly with printed jigs to speed up workflows. The chemically resistant, non-marring properties of Onyx make it perfect for manufacturing environments, ensuring long lasting tools that streamline production.

ONYX
Designed to combine the toughness and durability of Nylon with the dimensional stability and strength of composites, Onyx is the world’s most capable 3D printing plastic.

CARBON FIBER
Continuous Carbon Fiber parts stand up to the toughest applications. The backbone of aluminum-strength composite parts. Carbon Fiber is Markforged’s unique, ultra-high-strength Continuous Fiber — when laid into a Composite Base material like Onyx, it can yield parts as strong as 6061-T6 Aluminum. It’s extremely stiff and strong, and can be automatically laid down in a wide variety of geometries by Markforged 3D printers.
FIBERGLASS
Fiberglass reinforced Onyx composites are as strong as metal — 20x stiffer and stronger than typical 3D printed parts. Entry-level Continuous Fiber for industrial applications. Fiberglass is Markforged’s entry-level Continuous Fiber —a material capable of yielding parts 10x stronger than ABS when laid into a Composite Base material like Onyx. Fiberglass is the flagship material of the Onyx Pro and X5 and printable on the Mark Two and X7, providing a more affordable alternative to Carbon Fiber.
KEVLAR
Tough, highly compliant Continuous Fiber for high-impact applications
Kevlar is a specialized Continuous Fiber known for its energy absorption and extreme toughness. When laid into Onyx or another Composite Base material, it yields extremely impact-resistant parts that are nearly immune to catastrophic failure (fracture). It’s perfect for use in parts that are in demanding environments or are subject to repetitive loading.
HST FIBREGLASS
Thermally resistant Continuous Fiber for strong parts in high-temperature environments
High Strength High Temperature (HSHT) Fiberglass is defined by two characteristics: high strength (nearly equal to 6061-T6 Aluminum) and strength in high temperatures. Though not as stiff as Continuous Carbon Fiber, Onyx parts reinforced with HSHT are strong at both low and high temperatures. As a result, HSHT reinforcement is best used for parts in high-temperature environments like molds, autoclaves, and others.

CFF
Continuous Filament Fabrication
Formed from the combination of two materials, composite parts are incredibly strong and versatile. Our unique fabrication process enables you to print parts that are an order of magnitude stiffer and stronger than typical 3D printed objects.
Design
CAD your part, upload the STL, and select from composite materials such as Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass or Kevlar. The cloud-based software does the rest making printing the right part easy.
Reinforce
The dual material system crafts the composite part one layer at a time. The first nozzle builds the plastic matrix and the second winds the fiber throughout.
Part
As strong as aircraft grade aluminum and over 40% lighter, Markforged CFF parts are more than capable of replacing machined metal tools, fixtures and prototypes.

LASER PRECISION
With a built-in laser micrometer, the X7 3D printer automatically scans the print bed with 1µm accuracy to generate a contour map of its surface. By calibrating using the 3D laser scanner to calibrate its measurements with extrusion readings to perfectly set nozzle height and active topography adjustment, the X7 ensures your prints come out exactly how you want them.

USABILITY
Cloud-connected software and a 4.3” touchscreen comes standard with every printer, washer and furnace. Regular over-the-air updates mean that your Markforged products keep getting better. Material usage tracking and out-of-material detection help monitor your printers and reduce waste. Just a few of the ways we’re working to reduce the distance from design to part.
